My professional journey and the companies I've had the privilege to work with.
- Key engineer for the implementation and migration of Privacy Consent tools from third party Crownpeak integration to an in-house solution
- Led & built metrics, alerts & logging for Privacy Consent to ensure system health and gather useful metrics to determine user behaviour
- Mentored junior engineers and created projects to showcase their talents
- Lead & built new SLAM redesign from scratch. Spearheaded design, gathered requirements, ensured code standard, implemented latest tools and technologies
- Wrote lambdas from scratch and deployed them with API gateway using CDK
- Responsible for launching in new regions for AWS Simple Workflow
- Performed weekly Spike Analysis to root cause and implemented solutions to prevent issues from reoccurring
- Improved existing ops tools by creating new alarms and dashboards
- Work closely with Data engineers to design & build products for their needs

Android Developer (May 2017 - April 2019)
- Integrated SSO (Cognito) with existing Android Apps
- Rebuilt the XE Currency App from the ground up as one of the key developers
- Built XE Travel App from scratch as one of the key developers
- Used the latest Android Architecture Components and libraries - AndroidX/Android Jetpack, ViewModels, LiveData, Room, Paging, Butterknife, Retrofit, Dagger 2, MVVM etc.
- Took ownership of many parts of the app as well as R&D of future enhancements
Full Stack Developer (April 2019 - July 2021)
- Maintained and added new functionalities to our enterprise software XECD & Rates API as well as R&D new Rates Collectors in Spring Boot from scratch
- Lead the Ria integration with Currency App. Coordinated between 3 global offices, development & launching to production
- Lead implementing end to end analytics on accounts.xe.com in React
- Created Python scripts to migrate 3 million+ legacy Rate Alerts users
- Integrated Single Sign-on (Cognito) and other functionalities with XE Money Transfer Ionic App
- Added SSO and other functionalities to PHP middleware (between app and backend)
- Wrote GitLab CI pipelines and automation tools like pre-commit linting
- Implemented Terraform changes for new & existing infrastructures
- Created and modified Jenkins pipelines for testing, building, and packaging builds to Artifactory
- Contributed to improvements to Rate Alerts PHP web app such as region detection for GDPR compliance
